Professional Interests: My practice is rooted in transcultural social work and focused on social justice, mental health, substance use, and client autonomy. I have worked in the behavioral health field for over two decades in a variety of settings: outpatient clinics, forensic mental health, medication-assisted treatment, state hospital, community, and street-based services. I’ve focused a portion of my clinical work on men’s health, subcultures, and marginalized populations.

Theoretical Orientation and Therapy Approach: My clinical training is in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Harm Reduction. My primary clinical style is a strengths-based, person-centered, harm reduction model, which compassionately supports people to have a safe environment to discuss their experiences and work on their goals.
