Professional Interests: I am passionate about supporting college students as they navigate the challenges and transitions during such a pivotal chapter of life. I love working collaboratively with students to help them achieve holistic wellness and create a future that’s aligned with their goals and values. I have interests in a wide variety of mental health concerns including interpersonal challenges, family concerns, chronic illness, and coping with anxiety and depression. I also have specialized training in working with disordered eating/body image concerns and sports psychology.
Theoretical Orientation and Therapy Approach: My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from psychodynamic, existential, and behavioral frameworks within a multicultural and social justice lens. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, authenticity, and cultural humility. In my work, I strive to help students explore relational patterns, deepen emotional insight, and develop practical strategies to create meaningful change. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, and DBT, alongside relational and psychodynamic interventions, to foster resilience and self-compassion.
In therapy, I aim to create a collaborative and affirming space where clients feel supported in exploring their emotions, gaining insight into relational patterns, and developing meaningful strategies for growth. I believe that clients are the experts in their own lives, and my role is to provide guidance, encouragement, and a safe space for self-exploration. My goal is to foster an inclusive and empowering environment where all students feel seen, heard, and equipped to navigate both personal and academic challenges with confidence.
