Professional Interests: I am a licensed clinical social worker and have been providing mental health counseling to adults for many years. I especially appreciate and enjoy working with college students because it is such a dynamic time in life. I hope to help individuals find ways to feel better, deepen self-understanding, and to solve/manage problems. Counseling is a collaborative process and I try to work with clients in the ways that are most useful and accessible to them, integrating a range of therapeutic approaches. I recognize the high importance of the ongoing work of multicultural competence in order to provide empathic and effective counseling services. I am experienced working with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, family of origin issues, grief, stress management, mindfulness, and adjustments to life transitions.
