What is it?

Eating disorders can come in many forms, but anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating are the three most common. Eating disorders often occur in response to feelings of intense fear around body weight, shame or guilt connected to body weight, or loss of control. All of these eating disorders can cause are serious health problems, perhaps life threatening, and can benefit from professional treatment.

Treating Eating Disorders

At the UO we offer a team approach to working with people experiencing eating disorders. We have found that a comprehensive approach seems to be the most beneficial because it maximizes services and support. Our team is well versed in the disciplines of psychology, medicine, nutrition, and exercise to help you achieve your best and healthiest results.
