Professional Interests: I gravitate toward humanistic and interpersonal process approaches to therapy, with particular attention to cultural and environmental factors. I strive to collaborate with and support clients throughout therapy while prioritizing client autonomy. My history is in victim advocacy, and I am especially interested in trauma recovery, interpersonal violence, and relationship health. In research, I prefer community-based participatory qualitative research, especially centered around intervention design. In the UO Criminal Justice Lab, I am involved in multiple research projects studying outcomes for individuals returning to their communities after incarceration and the impact of social services on re-entry experiences.
