The Body Love Society
The Body Love Society is a peer-led, four week body acceptance group that meets weekly for an hour. The goals of the group are to discuss the culture of unhealthy beauty standards, our own experiences with body image, and how together we can create social change to increase body positivity on our campus. This program is evidence-based and research has shown that participants experience improved body satisfaction, improved school and social functioning and reduced risk for eating disorders. We invite any female-identified students who are interested in discussing these topics and contributing to social change to contact the Duck Nest Wellness Center for more information, or register using the link below.
The Body Love Society is a collaborative effort of the University Health Services Public Health Practices and Counseling Services departments, Duck Nest Wellness Center, and the Oregon Research Institute.
