Additional Roles: Transgender Care Team, Interpersonal Violence Response Team

Alma Mater: University of Kentucky (2017)

Professional Interests:  I enjoy being a generalist clinician and working with clients with a wide variety of presenting concerns, though I have special interests in serving trauma survivors, individuals with substance use issues, and individuals who don’t typically have access to mental health services.  I am also passionate about working with students who present with family of origin, identity, anxiety, and mood concerns.  My theoretical orientation integrates interpersonal, feminist, and client-centered approaches; I also use motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy techniques.  I conceptualize clients within their unique sociocultural backgrounds and consider the impact of clients’ and my intersecting identities on our working relationships.

Personal Interests: I love travel, photography, activism, and spending time with my nephew. I really enjoy volunteering at the Greenhill Humane Society, where I get to walk and care for rescue dogs.

UO Love: The people at UO are so friendly and I love that everything in town is less than a 15 minute drive.
