The predoctoral program is a one year, full-time, stipend program which integrates developing conceptual knowledge, applied skills, and competence in individual psychotherapy, group therapy, clinical assessment, ethnic and lifestyle diversity, crisis intervention, clinical supervision, consultation, outreach programming, and professional ethics and decision-making. Qualified candidates must be doctoral students in counseling or clinical psychology with all course work, practica (500 intervention and assessment hours), and qualifying examinations completed by the application deadline. Psychologists seeking training to change specialties to the counseling or clinical areas must complete the same didactic and practicum requirements.
All materials must be available for review on-line by our due date of Nov. 7, 2009. Complete the Uniform Internship Appliication, APPI, found on the APPIC website at www.appic.org, then click on 'APPI On-Line'. You will need to submit a cover letter, current vita, your official graduate transcripts (doctoral and masters level) and three current letters of reference.
