Substance Abuse Services
The Counseling Center at the UCTC provides the following services for substance abuse concerns:
We do not provide court ordered assessments, but we do work closely with the Housing Department and the Dean of Students' Conduct Office for initial mandated assessments. Contact the Counseling Center at (541) 346-3227 for consultation and further resources, or learn how to access our services.
Groups Provided for Substance Abuse Concerns
Rolling with Change Group
The Rolling with Change Group is a voluntary group designed for students who are contemplating making a change in their alcohol and drug use patterns, but have questions and concerns about how to do so. The group meets Tuesdays at 5:00PM at the University Counseling and Testing Center. For a student to be enrolled in this group, they must schedule an appointment with UCTC staff by calling 541-346-3227. Please let staff know when you call that you are interested in attending this group
We also provide the BASICs program for students who have been referred by Housing Department and the Office of the Dean of Students.
Substance Abuse Prevention & Student Success
