About UCTC

 

The University Counseling & Testing Center (UCTC) is a department of UO Student Affairs providing therapy, testing, consultation, outreach, and referral services to university students.  Many of our services are confidential to students.  We also offer consultation and outreach services to faculty and staff. 

We are a professionally diverse staff consisting of:

  • Psychologists
  • Therapists
  • Doctoral Psychology Interns
  • GTFs
  • Practicum Intern Therapists
  • Psychometricians
  • Administrative Personnel

We are all dedicated to the same mission of facilitating students' development and success, and our core values growth, balance, compassion, community, social justice for all.  These are the principles that infuse all our interactions with students.  

All matriculated students who are currently enrolled in UO classes and are paying student fees are eligible for our individual counseling and group counseling.  Current groups being offered can be viewed here.  We also have a self-help library for our students and have compiled an extensive list of self-help resources available on the web.  Come by to see us or call 541-346-3227 for an appointment or consultation. 


 


The Testing Center is open from 8-5 pm. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and from 11-5 pm on Thursday for appointments for testing.  Please call 541-346-3230 to schedule a test.  Computer-based testing appointments can be made by calling 541-346-2772.
