Alma Mater: Utah State University (anticipated 2018)
Professional Interests: My approach to treatment is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) under the umbrella framework of Multicultural approaches and Feminist Therapy (with an intersectional lens). I am interested in interpersonal issues, anxiety disorders, identity development, trauma, and grief. I have special interest in working with LGBTQ and/or Native American peoples. I am also very passionate about supervision and mentoring, particularly mentoring students of color.
Personal Interests: I am an “Urban Indian”-Turtle Mountain Chippewa (from North Dakota), raised in Utah. I enjoy hiking, yoga, knitting, and crochet. I also love doing anything that involves getting to hang out with my dog.
UO Love: I enjoy the sense of community and connectedness that the UCTC provides. I love the friendly, relaxed vibe of the Eugene community and the beautiful landscape that surrounds us.
