Title: Senior Staff Therapist

Additional Roles: Alcohol and Other Drug Coordinator, Collegiate Recovery Center Director

Alma Mater: Marshall University (1999)

Professional Interests: I enjoy working with all types of students and I am very grateful for the opportunity to be able to do so here at the UO. I work with students suffering from chemical dependency or abuse, recovering from chemical dependency, or with those who have been emotionally and mentally impacted by a family member, friend, or loved one's alcohol or drug use. I also work with students struggling with loss, depression, issues with anxiety and issues with spirituality. I work an integrated approach to therapy and utilize various Cognitive Behavioral theories in session.

Personal Interets: I am a slow, avid runner and enjoy the chances to run that Eugene offers. I enjoy going on adventures in the great outdoors when I can. I love listening to music and going to various concerts. Some of my favorite artists are the Counting Crows, White Stripes, Warren Zevon, Colin Hay, and the Lumineers. The most recent book I read was The Presence Process by Michael Brown—a great book about learning to live in the moment.
