Title: Senior Staff Therapist

Additional Roles: Alcohol and Other Drug Coordinator, Collegiate Recovery Center Director

Alma Mater: Marshall University (1999)

Professional Interests: I enjoy working with all types of students. I have much experience working with students suffering with issue related to chemical dependency or abuse, recovering from chemical dependency, or with those who have been emotionally and mentally impacted by a family member, friend, or loved one's alcohol or drug use. I am also experienced in working with students struggling with loss, depression, anxiety and issues with spirituality. I work mostly from a person centered approach in therapy and believe in meeting a person where they are at in the process of wanting to make a change. I also am director of the Collegiate Recovery Center on campus.

Personal Interests: I enjoy going on adventures in the great outdoors as well as indoors with my family here in Oregon. Music is very therapeutic for me and I love going to live music events locally and elsewhere. A couple of years ago I had the incredible experience to see Tom Petty at Red Rocks in Colorado. I also have a rescue dog named Tuff who keeps me on my toes daily. Sports are also an interest of mine and I am fortunate to have a stepson who I get to watch compete. My oldest step son serves in the Air Force and my step daughter recently graduated from the UO.
